Great Seal

The Great Seal is the term for the legislative body of Elysia's government. It consists of the Monarch and the two parliamentary houses - the Senate, a body of commoners elected by their peers, and the Spiritual Assembly, a body of nobles.

As set forth in the Elysian Constitution, any bill tabled by the government must meet the approval of all three of these offices before being passed into law. This is done by majority vote in the Senate and Noble Assembly, and then given to the monarch for royal assent. It is only through this process that laws are made in Elysia.
